Eagles @ Seahawks 8:20PM
The Eagle’s season has been a complete disaster this year. Their star WR is almost as pissed off as the Eagle’s fans are. Vince Young will get the start at QB tonight while Vick sits out for the third week in as many weeks. Also out this week are CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and their other top downfield threat Jeremy Maclin will sit out again. Pete Carroll has the Seahawks playing well and Marshawn Lynch looks poised to earn himself the money he deserves this offseason. I’m going with the Seahawks tonight. The Eagles don’t even have more talent on the field this week with all their injuries and the fact that they are a complete mess on and off the field doesn’t make me feel to good about their chances tonight.

Marshawn Lynch deserves a new contract averaging a combine 3.7 yards per carry the past 2 years? One play doesn’t guarantee you a deal, just ask David Tryee. You should be talking about the NFL’s current leading rusher Lesean “Shady” McCoy who’s averaging 5.3 ypc and 95.5 ypg. Eagles ride McCoy to a 27-20 win tonight.
Seattle’s o-line is an absolute joke. I’m not saying Lynch is a top tier running back, but he has proven this season that he can handle the load. Most RB’s don’t average 5.3 ypc. So yes, if Lynch keeps performing he will get a good contract, he seems old but he’s still only 25.
oh and by the way, his career numbers in the months of november/december marshawn lynch averages 4.32 yards per carry. proves he can handle the length of an nfl season unlike a majority of rbs
Among players with a minimum of 50 carries on the season, Marshawn currently ranks 47th in YPC average. However, you are correct about the play of the Seahawks o-line, they need to improve in that area on the upcoming draft. There is no doubt that Marshawn is a downhill, physical runner and would be good for another team, but there is no way he can live up to his hype in Seattle.
Regardless of Marshawn Lynch, the Eagles will win this game with ease. Desean will bounce back tonight and although Jeremy Maclin is inactive, the Eagles have veteran guys like Brent Celek and Jason Avant that can get the job done.
